Love is such a powerful feeling. It evokes connection, healing, boosts our immune system and helps us to grow.¬† A mother needs certain levels of love hormone to birth her baby naturally and to breastfeed. Love hormone helps us to focus and it makes us feel powerful and energized. The more we love ourselves the more we are able to love others. The more we are able to accept and love others the more we instantly are able to love and accept ourselves. Love works in either direction! On a scale of 0-10, how much do you love yourself?¬† 0 is not at all. 10 is I LOVE and value myself to the max. Do you take enough time to feel grateful for amazing You and connect to the powerful you that you are? When you love yourself more, you release more of the love hormone, oxytocin,...

Are you settling for an average and not-so-exciting life or do you feel grateful and get excited about starting your day every morning? Have you noticed that many of us are going thru similar challenges or "upgrades" lately and maybe the fact that the new year is right around the corner has caused us to reflect on where we have been and question our lives and how satisfied we are. It seems we are in a  major growth spurt right now that for some of us feels chaotic at times. Have you noticed there is some major shedding going on? Do you feel more emotional at times, and then feel a surge of energy?   I just came back from my first ever water color class called "The Watercolors of Life" taught by Rabbi Shoni Labowitz, an amazing powerhouse of a woman who founded Temple Adath Or. She is an accomplished author, artist and spiritual leader for over 20 years. Rabbi Shoni exudes a powerful presence and uncanny ability to channel divine wisdom from her sharing her life experiences, meditative techniques for how she creates her paintings and sculptures, and insight on how to tap into our creative energy. Her workshops enlighten us with tools for skillful living and bring us back to our experience of our higher power and spirit. Rabbi Shoni began the workshop by saying ‚Äútoday we will use water as the medium, and we will add paint to that medium. I am not going to teach you any specific technique, but I will teach you how to...

Heal and Flow with the Force Of Nature and Integrative Healing Therapy. There is a divine force of love, an energy that flows through us constantly. When we allow ourselves to be fully engaged in the present moment, we can experience this force. Depending on your background and past experiences, you may have a different name to call this force of nature. It may be love, God, Buddha, Jesus, chi, energy, spirit, prana and/or life force. The name that we call it does not matter so much, as the only way to truly understand it is to experience this force flowing through your body. You can read books on the topic of dark chocolate and someone can describe to you the taste and texture of dark chocolate, but you can only experience the deliciousness of dark chocolate when you place an actual piece of chocolate in your...

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you feel weighed down or stuck without any way out? Too often we become attached to people, places or things and have a hard time letting go. Sometimes we hold on even if we are no longer growing or feeling uplifted. Predictability makes us feel more calm and safe, however, nothing is really ever edged in stone.  We never really know what is going to happen in the future, we only know the NOW...
