A¬†diagnosis of Cancer can be devastating and a great source of stress. Life has shown me how it can also be a source of healing, miracles and life transformation. Embodying the science of healing is one of my favorite passions. I have been¬†teaching a class every Wednesday evening from 6-7:30pm at the Cancer Support Center in Miami that empowers and educates individuals on "How To Heal and Thrive Through Cancer." We do this through an experience which teaches us HOW to tap into our innate wisdom and the science of healing based on the latest reseach in mind-body medicine.   What is fascinating is how the people have transformed over these past months, by simply attending the class and applying what is learned into their every day life. Each person receives suggestions how to integrate into their body-mind-spirit and life these powerful tools. There is a magic in the...

In my past, it has been a struggle to be able to trust someone and accept myself completely. Growing up with two brothers, somehow the message I got growing up was that girls were supposed to be "nice" and this taught me to be quiet and not stand up for myself and say what I really wanted to say. Later on this translated over into my first sexual experience in my early teens. I was petrified at how this older boy took an interest in me and I actually did not want it to happen, however I froze and didn't say anything. I later on felt so angry, sad, terror and disgust--- for not running away, kicking or screaming for him to not touch me and also for what had happened-that I allowed to happen. This incident caused me to lose trust in myself, that I would discover...

Did you know heart disease is the number one leading cause of death in the USA? While 1 in 31 American women dies from breast cancer each year, 1 in 3 dies of heart disease.   Are you "present" and aware of yourself throughout the day, or do you numb out your feelings and emotions? Some of us have had past hurts and traumas which make it painful and scary to be fully engaged in the moment. For some of us, simply "being" ourselves makes us feel antsy and unsettled. LET GO AND GROW Have you ever thought, “What if a tree were to keep all of it’s dried up leaves every fall season? Can you imagine what that would look like during the winter time? It would take a lot of extra energy from that tree for it to hold on to all of it’s dead leaves, for it’s nature is to shed, it’s nature is to allow those dried up leaves to detach and fall as the wind is so perfectly designed to assist in it’s shedding process. Nature is so perfect. The weather, the magnetic pulls, the birds that fly onto it’s branches to excite those leaves and help them along their shedding process. Nature supports the death process just as it support the re-birth process. Dead leaves are a sign of transition, new life is about to take place. How possible could it...
